On December 20th, Steet Ponte Ford proudly hosted our inaugural Photos with the Grinch event, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how the day turned out. What began as a brand-new idea quickly became an unforgettable community celebration, welcoming hundreds of families into our showroom to kick off the school holiday break in the most fun way possible.
Families enjoyed free professional photos with the Grinch, captured by Josh Perez of Pixel Peek Photography, giving everyone a chance to take home a memorable keepsake from the day. The holiday fun didn’t stop there! Guests were treated to a hot cocoa and treats station, a kids’ craft area run by a cheerful “Mrs. Grinch,” and a playful “Whoville Truck” checklist activity. This activity had kids helping prepare the ultimate Whoville ride for the holidays, a stunning Ford Maverick displayed in our showroom.
A huge part of what made this event so special was the atmosphere. All of the festive decorations throughout the dealership were handmade by our Office Manager, Kathy Williams, who also planned the entire event from start to finish. Her creativity and attention to detail transformed our showroom into a Whoville-inspired holiday space and truly brought the event to life.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Photos with the Grinch event such a success. Seeing so many families laughing, creating memories, and enjoying the holiday spirit made the day even more meaningful for our team.

Every dealership has the same festive setup and an easy way for you to donate:
1. Find the Christmas Tree in Our Showroom
Each store features a decorated tree covered in green gift tags.
2. Choose a Tag
Each tag represents a local child and includes:
- A wish-list item
- Their age
- Clothing sizes (if needed)
3. Purchase the Gift
Shop for the item listed on the tag—big or small, every gift matters.
4. Return the Gift Unwrapped
Bring the unwrapped gift back to the tree, making sure the tag stays attached so it reaches the right child.
5. Optional: Donate Wrapping Supplies
We are also collecting:
- Wrapping paper
- Gift bags
- Tape
These donations help the receiving families wrap gifts in their own special way.

Steet Ponte Auto Group is “Driving into the Holidays” at the Shriners Annual FEZtival of Trees!
The holiday season has officially arrived, and the Steet Ponte Auto Group is excited to once again take part in the Shriners Annual FEZtival of Trees — held at the Masonic Home Auditorium from November 22nd through November 28th!
This year, our theme is “Driving into the Holidays,” and we had such a fun time setting up our festive display with some of our team before the event kicked off. Our tree is decorated with a cheerful automotive twist — and it’s surrounded by some incredible gifts, including TWO battery-powered ride-on vehicles: a Chevy Colorado and a Ford Bronco!
🎄 Here’s how it works:
The event is FREE to attend, and raffle tickets are just $5 each. You can use your tickets to enter to win any of the themed Christmas trees on display — including ours! Each winner gets to take home the entire decorated tree and all of the gifts underneath it, plus there are plenty of additional raffle baskets to win throughout the event.
We’re so proud to support this wonderful community tradition that helps raise funds for the Shriners and all the good they do locally. It’s always a joy to see the creativity that goes into every tree and to be a part of such a fun, family-friendly celebration.

The Steet Ponte Auto Group is proud to announce our 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, happening now across all of our dealership locations — Steet Ponte Chevy in Herkimer, United Auto Sales of Utica, Steet Ponte Volkswagen, Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, Steet Ponte Mazda, Steet Toyota of Yorkville, and Steet Ponte Nissan!
This year, we’re honored to partner with Feed Our Vets of Central New York, a wonderful nonprofit food pantry dedicated to providing food assistance to Veterans and their families in need. Their mission to support those who have served our country is one that deeply resonates with our entire team, and we’re excited to help make a difference this holiday season and beyond.
Each of our showrooms has a vehicle set up and ready to be filled with nonperishable food donations! The organization has shared a few of their most needed items, including:
- Hearty soups
- Canned meats
- Pasta and sauce
- Bisquick and syrup
- Nonperishable fruits and vegetables
Your donations will go directly to helping local Veterans and their families — not only during the Thanksgiving season, but well after the holidays end.
