Speed and style are two main components of the 2025 Ford Mustang. Whether you want a simple yet performance-heavy coupe or a premium-level convertible, you’ve got several options to pick from across nine trim levels.
Trim Levels of the 2025 Ford Mustang
EcoBoost Fastback
The EcoBoost Fastback comes with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine with 315 horsepower, a 10-speed automatic transmission, selectable drive modes, and 18-inch aluminum wheels with dark-colored pockets. Standard features include dual-powered exterior mirrors, a dual exhaust, a body-painted spoiler, and LED sequential taillights.
EcoBoost Fastback Convertible
Mustang makes some upgrades to the convertible version of the fastback. New features include pony projection lights, a nine-speaker sound system with an amplifier, and turn signal-integrated side mirrors with heating and Pony Puddle lamps. It also swaps from single-zone climate control to dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control and gains premium floor mats.
EcoBoost Premium Fastback
The EcoBoost Premium Fastback gets the best of the EcoBoost Fastback and the EcoBoost Fastback Convertible while maintaining a coupe appearance. Standard features include interior ambient lighting, an auto-dimming frameless rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heating and cooling in the front seats.
Premium Convertible
The Premium Convertible trim is basically the EcoBoost Premium Fastback but in a convertible-style body. It also shares some features with the EcoBoost Fastback Convertible trim that the coupe-style Fastbacks don’t offer, like an electronic-locking center console.
GT Fastback
Upgrades of the GT Fastback include a powerful 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine, dual 3.5-inch exhaust with quad tips, six-speed manual transmission with rev matching, and hood vents. It also gains 333 mm rear brake rotors with single-piston calipers, 353 mm front brake rotors with 4-piston calipers, and a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle.
GT Premium Fastback
Compared to the GT Fastback, the GT Premium Fastback comes with more premium features like pony projection lights, side mirrors upgraded with heating and turn signal integration, interior ambient lighting, and a universal garage door opener.
GT Premium Convertible
The GT Premium Convertible blends the latter two trim levels together. Standard offerings include dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, push-button start, lane-keeping assist, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a rearview camera.
Dark Horse
The Dark Horse lives up to its name with a black-tip performance exhaust, black foot pedals, and black-bezeled headlamps. Its engine 5.0L Coyote V8 Engine has been modified and now produces up to 500 horsepower. Other new features include improved handling thanks to a special damping system, open-air induction system, and unique chassis tuning.
Dark Horse Premium
The Dark Horse Premium comes with most of the same features as the regular Dark Horse but also offers the premium features of the latter trim levels. Premium features range from heating and cooling in the front seats to an electronic-locking center console.
