At Steet Ponte Ford, we’re always proud to support the next generation of automotive technicians. Recently, we had the opportunity to donate an Engine Leveler to SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET Automotive Technician Program to help further the hands-on learning of their students.
SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training) Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program gives students valuable real-world experience by preparing them to work as actual employees in the automotive industry while they’re still in school. This unique program blends classroom learning with on-the-job training, creating highly skilled technicians ready to succeed in today’s industry.

In the photo we shared, you’ll see one of our own Technician Interns from Steet Ponte Ford, who is also a student in the ASSET program, alongside Professor Dan Akers from SUNY Morrisville. It’s always rewarding to see students gaining knowledge and experience that will help them build long, successful careers.
We’re so happy we could provide this tool to help enhance their education and training. Supporting programs like Ford ASSET not only helps students, but also strengthens the future of the automotive industry as a whole.
