You baby your engine in so many ways because you know that an engine is one of the most expensive parts on your vehicle to replace. But are you taking care of your engine by ensuring that your timing belt is in good working condition. If you're not, you should.

The timing belt is a part that ensures that the camshaft and crankshafts are opening and closing the pistons and valves at the correct intervals. Without this timing element working properly, your engine can't run. It's even possible that if the timing belt brakes with the pistons and valves are opening and closing that your engine could be damaged. Ouch, that's a big price tag.

Ford's 2018 Fusion Energi showcases these advances with a powerful and efficient lithium-ion battery and Atkinson-cycle engine. The Fusion Energi is powered by a 2L I-4 engine that's assisted by an electric motor cranking out 88 kilowatts of power. That electric motor is powered by a 7.6kWh lithium-ion battery that charges in about seven hours using a 120V cable. With that much electric power assisting the gasoline engine, the Fusion Energi achieves a combined 97 mpg fuel economy rating from the EPA. 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive at Steet Ponte Ford!

Thursday, 13 October, 2022 October 1st-November 1st, 2022: The cold weather is coming, and we're holding our 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive at all of the stores in the Steet Ponte Auto Group! Items needed: coats, snow pants, hats, scarves and mittens sizes 5T-Kids XL. We know how long and cold the Central New York and Utica winters are, so we want to ensure that any child in need in the area is kept warm throughout the winter season! The schools are looking for NEW items to give to each child in need. We have tons of local stores that sell children's cold weather clothing, including: The Children's Place, TJ Maxx, Thrifty Shopper, Carter's, Boscov's, and many other stores in Sangertown Square Mall and Consumer Square in New Hartford, NY. In Oneida county, stop down to our stores on Commercial Drive. All donations are directly donated to Utica & Rome Elementary Schools! We're going 5 years strong with our coat drive! Visit us during business hours and help keep our kids warm this winter!

Meet the Staff: Cyndi Wilson!

Cyndi is a Service Advisor at Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln and recently started working with us in late 2017! Cyndi lives in Forestport, NY, and her favorite Ford is the Ford Escape.
