At Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, we love seeing our passion for vehicles bring people together—but even better is when that passion can help support an important cause in our community. We were proud to recently sponsor the CABVI Vehicles for Vision Community Car & Motorcycle Show & Invitational in Utica. As part of our sponsorship, we also had the opportunity to showcase a vehicle at the event alongside an impressive collection of classic, custom and specialty vehicles. Hosted by the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI), Vehicles for Vision is an annual event that brings car and motorcycle enthusiasts together while raising money to support CABVI's vision services. The event featured incredible vehicles, food, raffles, music, prizes and plenty of opportunities for the community to come together. Supporting CABVI's Mission CABVI has been serving Central New York since 1929, with a mission to assist people who are blind or visually impaired in achieving their highest level of independence. The organization provides a wide range of services, including low vision care, vision rehabilitation, occupational therapy, orientation and mobility, educational services, technology training, support services and adaptive sports and recreation programs. The Vehicles for Vision program itself has a long history of supporting that mission. Established in 1986, the program was created as a way to raise funds for CABVI. Today, proceeds from Vehicles for Vision continue to help fund programs and services for people who are blind or visually impaired. We were honored to be part of an event that combines something our team loves— vehicles—with an opportunity to give back to the community. A big thank-you to CABVI for putting together such a great event and to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored, donated and helped make the Vehicles for Vision Car Show a success. What’s better than a day at the ballpark? A day at the ballpark with your Steet Ponte family! ⚾ This year, the Steet Ponte Auto Group took our team spirit on the road for our first-ever Steet Ponte Auto Group bus trip to see the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox! The idea for the trip came from Kathy Williams of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, who did an incredible job organizing and bringing this first-time event to life. We had team members representing almost all of our Steet Ponte stores join us for a day filled with baseball, great food, drinks and plenty of laughs. And Mother Nature certainly cooperated! We were treated to beautiful weather as we enjoyed the game from our group seating area, complete with lunch and drinks. It was the perfect setting to relax, enjoy some baseball and spend time with coworkers outside of the dealerships. While the Yankees and Red Sox provided plenty of action on the field, the best part of the day was simply getting everyone together. With team members from across the Auto Group along for the trip, it was a great opportunity to connect with coworkers we may not get to see every day and enjoy a memorable experience together. A huge thank-you to Kathy Williams for coming up with the idea and putting so much time and effort into organizing such a fantastic day. She set the bar pretty high for our first Steet Ponte bus trip! We’re already looking forward to doing it again—and who knows where the next Steet Ponte adventure will take us! There’s nothing better than a beautiful summer day on the golf course with great people—and this year’s Steet Ponte Auto Group Annual Golf Tournament delivered all of that and more! This year, our annual tournament was held at Holland Heights Golf Course in Herkimer, NY, bringing together team members and friends from across the Steet Ponte Auto Group for a day of golf, food, prizes and plenty of fun. We were proud to have representation from all of our Steet Ponte stores, along with several of the businesses we’re fortunate to work with throughout the year, including New Hartford Window Cleaning and Zeibart. It was a great opportunity to step away from the dealerships, enjoy some friendly competition and spend time together outside of the office. A huge thank-you goes to Barb Mazzotta of Steet Ponte Mazda, who coordinated this year’s tournament and put together an incredible day for everyone who attended. From the moment golfers hit the course, there was something to look forward to! Golfers were treated to hot dogs and hamburgers at the turn, a drink tent to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day, and tons of prizes provided by our manufacturers and Steet Ponte stores. In fact, everyone went home with something! And, of course, the day wasn’t complete without a great meal. After finishing up on the course, everyone gathered for dinner at Holland Heights, giving us the perfect opportunity to relax, share some laughs and wrap up an unforgettable day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better group of people to spend the day with. Events like this are a great reminder of what makes the Steet Ponte Auto Group special—not only the dealerships and brands we represent, but the people who make up our team and the business relationships we’ve built throughout our community. We also want to give a special shoutout to Valerie Rinaldi of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln for helping make this event such a success! There’s no better way to start a new school year than feeling prepared and ready to take on what’s ahead! For the 3rd Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group School Supplies & Backpack Drive, our team joined together with our fellow Steet Ponte stores to donate 576 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to local students. Each backpack was filled with classroom essentials, including folders, crayons, glue sticks, scissors, pencils and more. We hope these supplies help students feel confident walking through the doors on their first day and give them the tools they need for a successful year. This marks the third year in a row that we’ve had the honor of helping kick off one of the most iconic events in our community, and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of such an incredible tradition. Every year, the Boilermaker Road Race brings thousands of runners, spectators, and visitors from all over the world to the Greater Utica area. Beyond being an internationally recognized race, the Boilermaker plays a huge role in supporting our local economy, showcasing our community, and bringing people together for a weekend full of excitement and pride.
