The Steet Ponte Auto Group is proud to announce our 13th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, happening now across all of our dealership locations — Steet Ponte Chevy in Herkimer, United Auto Sales of Utica, Steet Ponte Volkswagen, Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, Steet Ponte Mazda, Steet Toyota of Yorkville, and Steet Ponte Nissan! This year, we’re honored to partner with Feed Our Vets of Central New York, a wonderful nonprofit food pantry dedicated to providing food assistance to Veterans and their families in need. Their mission to support those who have served our country is one that deeply resonates with our entire team, and we’re excited to help make a difference this holiday season and beyond. Each of our showrooms has a vehicle set up and ready to be filled with nonperishable food donations! The organization has shared a few of their most needed items, including: Hearty soups Canned meats Pasta and sauce Bisquick and syrup Nonperishable fruits and vegetables Your donations will go directly to helping local Veterans and their families — not only during the Thanksgiving season, but well after the holidays end. 🦃 Our Food Drive is happening NOW through Monday, November 24th at 10AM! And as a special thank-you, if you bring in 3 or more nonperishable items to our Service Department, you’ll receive $10 off your service visit! Just show your donation to our Service Department team to redeem your discount. (Offer valid through 11/24.) Join us in giving back to those who’ve given so much. Every can, box, or bag of food helps us get one step closer to filling our vehicles — and filling the shelves at Feed Our Vets of Central New York. The Steet Ponte Auto Group is thrilled to share the incredible success of our 8th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive — and this year was truly one for the record books! Thanks to the amazing generosity of our customers, employees, and community members, we collected an astounding 1,425 items of winter outerwear! That includes: 🧥 444 winter coats 🧤 819 hats and gloves 🧣 12 scarves ❄️ 7 snow suits 👢 2 pairs of boots When we first started this initiative eight years ago, our entire group collected around 250 total items between all eight stores. To see that number multiply by seven is nothing short of incredible! This year, we donated to Utica, Rome, Herkimer, CVA, Frankfort, Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary Schools! From Steet Ponte Chevy in Herkimer, Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, Steet Ponte Mazda, Steet Ponte VW, Steet Toyota of Yorkville, Steet Ponte Nissan, Steet Toyota of Johnstown, and United Auto Sales of Utica, our entire dealership family is so proud and grateful for everyone who donated or helped us spread the word. We know how cold Central New York winters can be, and these coats, hats, and gloves will make such a difference for local kids — helping them start their school day warm and comfortable, and giving them the chance to play outside at recess or after school with smiles on their faces. As the colder months approach, we are once again collecting NEW winter outerwear in any children’s size to help keep local kids warm this winter. We invite our community to join us in this mission by donating coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. Donations can be dropped off at Steet Ponte Ford located at 5074 Commercial Drive in Yorkville —just look for the specially designated vehicle or drop-off area in our showrooms. Whether it’s a warm coat, sturdy boots, or cozy mittens, every item will help make a difference for a child in our community. Together, with your help, we can ensure that kids across the Mohawk Valley and Fulton County stay warm, safe, and ready to learn this winter.

On Sunday, August 17th, Steet Ponte Auto Group proudly hosted our 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at Heron Creek Golf Course in Clinton, NY. This annual tradition brings together our employees, vendors, and valued business partners for a fun-filled day on the course—and this year was no exception! We had wonderful representation from all of our stores —Steet Toyota of Johnstown, Steet Ponte Chevy, United Auto Sales, Steet Ponte VW, Steet Ponte Ford, Steet Ponte Lincoln, and Steet Toyota of Yorkville. It’s always great to see everyone come together not just as coworkers, but as one big Steet Ponte family. The day included breakfast at registration, putting contests, lunch at the turn, a full dinner, and prizes for all participants. A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, who helped make the day such a success, and to our Event Coordinator, Barb Mazzotta, who worked tirelessly to organize every detail of the tournament. From start to finish, Barb made sure everything ran smoothly, creating an experience that everyone could enjoy. We also keep things fresh each year by rotating golf courses, which adds to the excitement and makes every tournament unique. After such a fantastic turnout this year, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event! The Steet Ponte Auto Group golf tournament is one of our favorite traditions—it gives us the chance to celebrate our amazing team, strengthen relationships with our partners, and simply enjoy a great day together. At Steet Ponte Ford, we’re always proud to support the next generation of automotive technicians. Recently, we had the opportunity to donate an Engine Leveler to SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET Automotive Technician Program to help further the hands-on learning of their students. SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training) Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program gives students valuable real-world experience by preparing them to work as actual employees in the automotive industry while they’re still in school. This unique program blends classroom learning with on-the-job training, creating highly skilled technicians ready to succeed in today’s industry. In the photo we shared, you’ll see one of our own Technician Interns from Steet Ponte Ford, who is also a student in the ASSET program, alongside Professor Dan Akers from SUNY Morrisville. It’s always rewarding to see students gaining knowledge and experience that will help them build long, successful careers. We’re so happy we could provide this tool to help enhance their education and training. Supporting programs like Ford ASSET not only helps students, but also strengthens the future of the automotive industry as a whole.

We were honored to once again support a hometown tradition that truly lights up the community — the 26th Annual Fire Truck Spectacular, hosted by the New Hartford Fire Department at Sangertown Square Mall! It’s always incredible to see the dedication of these brave men and women — and the amazing vehicles they operate — all in one place. June 27th | Pine Hills Golf Club | Frankfort, NY The Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the First Annual Putts for a Purpose Charity Golf Tournament, held on Friday, June 27th at Pine Hills Golf Club in Frankfort, NY. What began with a goal of raising $10,000 for local charities quickly turned into a huge community win— over $11,000 was raised during this incredible day on the course! Organized by Scott and Kelly Grates, hosts of the Love Living Local 315 podcast, the tournament was designed to spotlight and support the heart of our community— local charities and small businesses that often fly under the radar but make a major impact. Love Living Local 315 has become a must-listen for anyone who wants to discover hidden gems and meaningful stories across the Mohawk Valley. We were thrilled to not only sponsor this event but also to send a team of our own out to participate in the tournament. Saturday, June 7th | Utica, NY The Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to once again support one of our favorite community events— Wine in the Wilderness at the Utica Zoo! Held on a beautiful Saturday evening, June 7th, the event welcomed over 1,000 guests for a night of wine tasting, food, music, and wild animal encounters. As the official Designated Driver Sponsor, we were thrilled to help promote safe and responsible fun by handing out $15 Uber gift cards to the first 100 attendees who pledged to be a designated driver. Helping guests get home safely is a mission we take seriously, and we’re proud to continue making that possible through events like this. It was a perfect night at the Zoo, and the atmosphere was made even more exciting with the debut of their brand new dinosaur exhibit! Representing our team, Joe Steet Jr., Carly Steet Mathias, and Steve Ponte Jr. had the honor of presenting the check to Mary Bogdan, CEO, and Joanne Moskal, CIO, of Hospice & Palliative Care. This donation helps further the organization’s mission of serving patients of all ages from newborns to individuals over 100 years old throughout Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison counties. Screenshot Touring the Siegenthaler Center: A Home Away From Home During our visit, we were given a tour of the Siegenthaler Center, a unique four-bed end-of-life residence that adjoins the main Hospice building on Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford. Opened in February 2005, the Siegenthaler Center offers a home-like environment where patients and their families receive expert medical care and emotional support during life’s most delicate moments. It was a moving experience to witness firsthand the love, dignity, and comfort that Hospice brings to those in their care.
