At Steet Ponte Ford, we believe in investing in the next generation of automotive professionals—and earlier in November, our team had the opportunity to do just that! Our Service Manager, Tony Magee, and Ford Lincoln Technician, Austin Catlin, visited BOCES to give students an inside look at what life is really like in a modern Ford Lincoln service department. 🚗 Bringing Real-World Experience to the Classroom Tony and Austin spent time sharing their knowledge, day-to-day experiences, and the skills needed to thrive in today’s evolving automotive industry. From advanced diagnostics to hands-on repairs, students received a firsthand glimpse into a career path that is in high demand and constantly growing. 🐎 A Special Guest: The Mustang Dark Horse To make the experience even more exciting, the team brought along a Ford Mustang Dark Horse —a true standout in the Ford performance lineup. Students had the chance to explore the vehicle up close, learn about its engineering, and see how cutting-edge technology ties into the work of today’s technicians. 🔧 Inspiring the Technicians of Tomorrow Our visit to BOCES was a meaningful way to give back to the community and connect with young people interested in automotive careers. Providing students with real-life exposure helps them gain confidence, ask questions, and envision themselves in the industry. We’re grateful to BOCES for welcoming us and look forward to continuing to support local students and future technicians. At Steet Ponte Ford, we’re proud to help inspire the next generation, one Mustang and one classroom at a time.

Steet Ponte Ford is honored to take part in the success of the 13th Annual Steet Ponte Auto Group Thanksgiving Food Drive! Across all eight of our dealerships, we proudly donated 4,000 food items to support Feed Our Vets of Central New York, Fulton County Veterans, and the Vet to Vet Program. The holiday season has officially arrived, and the Steet Ponte Auto Group is excited to once again take part in the Shriners Annual FEZtival of Trees — held at the Masonic Home Auditorium from November 22nd through November 28th! This year, our theme is “Driving into the Holidays,” and we had such a fun time setting up our festive display with some of our team before the event kicked off. Our tree is decorated with a cheerful automotive twist — and it’s surrounded by some incredible gifts, including TWO battery-powered ride-on vehicles: a Chevy Colorado and a Ford Bronco! 🎄 Here’s how it works: The event is FREE to attend, and raffle tickets are just $5 each. You can use your tickets to enter to win any of the themed Christmas trees on display — including ours! Each winner gets to take home the entire decorated tree and all of the gifts underneath it, plus there are plenty of additional raffle baskets to win throughout the event. We’re so proud to support this wonderful community tradition that helps raise funds for the Shriners and all the good they do locally. It’s always a joy to see the creativity that goes into every tree and to be a part of such a fun, family-friendly celebration. On Sunday, August 17th, Steet Ponte Auto Group proudly hosted our 23rd Annual Golf Tournament at Heron Creek Golf Course in Clinton, NY. This annual tradition brings together our employees, vendors, and valued business partners for a fun-filled day on the course—and this year was no exception! We had wonderful representation from all of our stores —Steet Toyota of Johnstown, Steet Ponte Chevy, United Auto Sales, Steet Ponte VW, Steet Ponte Ford, Steet Ponte Lincoln, and Steet Toyota of Yorkville. It’s always great to see everyone come together not just as coworkers, but as one big Steet Ponte family. The day included breakfast at registration, putting contests, lunch at the turn, a full dinner, and prizes for all participants. A huge thank you goes out to our sponsors, who helped make the day such a success, and to our Event Coordinator, Barb Mazzotta, who worked tirelessly to organize every detail of the tournament. From start to finish, Barb made sure everything ran smoothly, creating an experience that everyone could enjoy. We also keep things fresh each year by rotating golf courses, which adds to the excitement and makes every tournament unique. After such a fantastic turnout this year, we’re already looking forward to next year’s event! The Steet Ponte Auto Group golf tournament is one of our favorite traditions—it gives us the chance to celebrate our amazing team, strengthen relationships with our partners, and simply enjoy a great day together. Thank you again to everyone who joined us, and we can’t wait to see you all next year!

At Steet Ponte Ford, we’re always proud to support the next generation of automotive technicians. Recently, we had the opportunity to donate an Engine Leveler to SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET Automotive Technician Program to help further the hands-on learning of their students. SUNY Morrisville’s Ford ASSET (Automotive Student Service Educational Training) Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program gives students valuable real-world experience by preparing them to work as actual employees in the automotive industry while they’re still in school. This unique program blends classroom learning with on-the-job training, creating highly skilled technicians ready to succeed in today’s industry. In the photo we shared, you’ll see one of our own Technician Interns from Steet Ponte Ford, who is also a student in the ASSET program, alongside Professor Dan Akers from SUNY Morrisville. It’s always rewarding to see students gaining knowledge and experience that will help them build long, successful careers. We’re so happy we could provide this tool to help enhance their education and training. Supporting programs like Ford ASSET not only helps students, but also strengthens the future of the automotive industry as a whole.
