Steet Ponte Auto Group Proudly Sponsors the First Annual Putts for a Purpose Charity Golf Tournament

Steet Ponte Auto Group Golf Team for Putts for a Purpose Golf Tournament

June 27th | Pine Hills Golf Club | Frankfort, NY

The Steet Ponte Auto Group was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the First Annual Putts for a Purpose Charity Golf Tournament, held on Friday, June 27th at Pine Hills Golf Club in Frankfort, NY. What began with a goal of raising $10,000 for local charities quickly turned into a huge community win—over $11,000 was raised during this incredible day on the course!

Organized by Scott and Kelly Grates, hosts of the Love Living Local 315 podcast, the tournament was designed to spotlight and support the heart of our community—local charities and small businesses that often fly under the radar but make a major impact. Love Living Local 315 has become a must-listen for anyone who wants to discover hidden gems and meaningful stories across the Mohawk Valley.

We were thrilled to not only sponsor this event but also to send a team of our own out to participate in the tournament. Representing the Steet Ponte Auto Group were:

  • Dan DeLuke, Auto Group Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator
  • Nate Smith, of Steet Ponte Nissan
  • Jason Coleman & Dan Hermann of Steet Toyota of Yorkville

The team brought the competitive spirit and camaraderie that make this community so special! As part of our sponsorship, we also offered a thrilling hole-in-one prize on Hole #14—a 2025 Ford Mustang Convertible—which certainly turned heads throughout the day.

One of the highlights of this tournament was that half of the funds raised—$5,500—will be donated to the MVHS Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network division, a cause very close to the Steet family’s heart. The Steet family has proudly supported the Children’s Miracle Network since 1989. This national nonprofit works to raise funds for local children's hospitals to help provide critical treatments, equipment, and services to children in need—ensuring that kids across the region have access to the best possible care, close to home.

We extend our deepest thanks to Scott and Kelly Grates for organizing such a meaningful and well-executed event, and to everyone who came out to support the cause. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln Supports CABVI Vehicles for Vision Car Show

At Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, we love seeing our passion for vehicles bring people together—but even better is when that passion can help support an important cause in our community. We were proud to recently sponsor the CABVI Vehicles for Vision Community Car & Motorcycle Show & Invitational in Utica. As part of our sponsorship, we also had the opportunity to showcase a vehicle at the event alongside an impressive collection of classic, custom and specialty vehicles. Hosted by the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI), Vehicles for Vision is an annual event that brings car and motorcycle enthusiasts together while raising money to support CABVI's vision services. The event featured incredible vehicles, food, raffles, music, prizes and plenty of opportunities for the community to come together. Supporting CABVI's Mission CABVI has been serving Central New York since 1929, with a mission to assist people who are blind or visually impaired in achieving their highest level of independence. The organization provides a wide range of services, including low vision care, vision rehabilitation, occupational therapy, orientation and mobility, educational services, technology training, support services and adaptive sports and recreation programs. The Vehicles for Vision program itself has a long history of supporting that mission. Established in 1986, the program was created as a way to raise funds for CABVI. Today, proceeds from Vehicles for Vision continue to help fund programs and services for people who are blind or visually impaired. We were honored to be part of an event that combines something our team loves— vehicles—with an opportunity to give back to the community. A big thank-you to CABVI for putting together such a great event and to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored, donated and helped make the Vehicles for Vision Car Show a success. At Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, we're proud to support organizations like CABVI that work every day to make a difference throughout Central New York. Thank you for letting us be part of Vehicles for Vision!

Steet Ponte Auto Grou Trip to Yankees Stadium

Steet Ponte Auto Group Takes Team Spirit to the Ballpark

What’s better than a day at the ballpark? A day at the ballpark with your Steet Ponte family! ⚾ This year, the Steet Ponte Auto Group took our team spirit on the road for our first-ever Steet Ponte Auto Group bus trip to see the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox! The idea for the trip came from Kathy Williams of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, who did an incredible job organizing and bringing this first-time event to life. We had team members representing almost all of our Steet Ponte stores join us for a day filled with baseball, great food, drinks and plenty of laughs. And Mother Nature certainly cooperated! We were treated to beautiful weather as we enjoyed the game from our group seating area, complete with lunch and drinks. It was the perfect setting to relax, enjoy some baseball and spend time with coworkers outside of the dealerships. While the Yankees and Red Sox provided plenty of action on the field, the best part of the day was simply getting everyone together. With team members from across the Auto Group along for the trip, it was a great opportunity to connect with coworkers we may not get to see every day and enjoy a memorable experience together. A huge thank-you to Kathy Williams for coming up with the idea and putting so much time and effort into organizing such a fantastic day. She set the bar pretty high for our first Steet Ponte bus trip! We’re already looking forward to doing it again—and who knows where the next Steet Ponte adventure will take us! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Yankees vs. Red Sox bus trip such a success. We can’t wait for the next one! ⚾🚌
