Gratitude in Action: Thank You for Supporting Our Holiday Events and Donation Drives!

Steet Ponte Auto Group Backpack and Supplies Drive to benefit Utica City School District

As the holiday season winds down and we welcome the new year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in and contributed to our holiday events and donation drives. Your generosity, spirit, and dedication to community made this season truly special.

Reflecting on the Joy and Impact

This past holiday season, we set out to make a meaningful difference in our community by organizing several events and drives. Thanks to your support, our efforts exceeded expectations. Here’s what we accomplished together:

Donation Drives

  • School Supplies Drive: With your help, we provided backpacks, notebooks, and essential tools to ensure that students in our community could start the new year ready to succeed. Your contributions put smiles on countless young faces for kids in 19 local elementary schools including Utica, Frankfort, CVA and Herkimer NY Elementary Schools!
  • Coat Drive: Winter can be harsh, but thanks to your kindness, many individuals and families now have warm coats to protect them against the cold. Every coat you donated was a gesture of care that truly mattered for the kids in the Utica and Rome City School Districts. Along with new coats, we were able to break a record and donated 1,017 items of winter outwear including new snow boots, snow pants, hats, gloves, scarves, mittens, and of course, coats!
  • Food Drive: During a time when no one should go hungry, your generosity provided meals for families in need. The outpouring of support filled not only pantries but also hearts for those who utilize the Thea Bowman House Food Pantry in Utica, NY.
  • Holiday Gift Drive: From toys and books to clothing and gift cards, you helped ensure that children in our community experienced the magic of the holidays. Your donations transformed wishes into reality for the families in the Adopt-a-Family program through ICAN, as well as the Amsterdam NY School District.

Holiday Events

  • Lights Around the Park Light Show: Held at the Kirkland Town Park and hosted by the Clinton Fire Department. This drive through light show went around the entire park, with over 30 different light displays, and was held every weekend from 11/29-12/29. On Sundays, Santa and Mrs. Claus even greeted each car with candy canes for those driving through!

Together, We Made a Difference

Through your contributions and involvement, you didn’t just donate or attend an event—you became part of something bigger. You helped build a stronger, more connected, and compassionate community.

The ripple effect of your kindness will be felt far beyond the holiday season. Each meal shared, coat donated, and moment of joy created reminded us all of the power of coming together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Let’s keep the spirit of giving and togetherness alive all year long.

Happy New Year!

Steet Ponte Ford Display Truck at CABVI's Vehicles for Vision Car Show

Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln Supports CABVI Vehicles for Vision Car Show

At Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, we love seeing our passion for vehicles bring people together—but even better is when that passion can help support an important cause in our community. We were proud to recently sponsor the CABVI Vehicles for Vision Community Car & Motorcycle Show & Invitational in Utica. As part of our sponsorship, we also had the opportunity to showcase a vehicle at the event alongside an impressive collection of classic, custom and specialty vehicles. Hosted by the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI), Vehicles for Vision is an annual event that brings car and motorcycle enthusiasts together while raising money to support CABVI's vision services. The event featured incredible vehicles, food, raffles, music, prizes and plenty of opportunities for the community to come together. Supporting CABVI's Mission CABVI has been serving Central New York since 1929, with a mission to assist people who are blind or visually impaired in achieving their highest level of independence. The organization provides a wide range of services, including low vision care, vision rehabilitation, occupational therapy, orientation and mobility, educational services, technology training, support services and adaptive sports and recreation programs. The Vehicles for Vision program itself has a long history of supporting that mission. Established in 1986, the program was created as a way to raise funds for CABVI. Today, proceeds from Vehicles for Vision continue to help fund programs and services for people who are blind or visually impaired. We were honored to be part of an event that combines something our team loves— vehicles—with an opportunity to give back to the community. A big thank-you to CABVI for putting together such a great event and to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored, donated and helped make the Vehicles for Vision Car Show a success. At Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, we're proud to support organizations like CABVI that work every day to make a difference throughout Central New York. Thank you for letting us be part of Vehicles for Vision!

Steet Ponte Auto Grou Trip to Yankees Stadium

Steet Ponte Auto Group Takes Team Spirit to the Ballpark

What’s better than a day at the ballpark? A day at the ballpark with your Steet Ponte family! ⚾ This year, the Steet Ponte Auto Group took our team spirit on the road for our first-ever Steet Ponte Auto Group bus trip to see the New York Yankees take on the Boston Red Sox! The idea for the trip came from Kathy Williams of Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, who did an incredible job organizing and bringing this first-time event to life. We had team members representing almost all of our Steet Ponte stores join us for a day filled with baseball, great food, drinks and plenty of laughs. And Mother Nature certainly cooperated! We were treated to beautiful weather as we enjoyed the game from our group seating area, complete with lunch and drinks. It was the perfect setting to relax, enjoy some baseball and spend time with coworkers outside of the dealerships. While the Yankees and Red Sox provided plenty of action on the field, the best part of the day was simply getting everyone together. With team members from across the Auto Group along for the trip, it was a great opportunity to connect with coworkers we may not get to see every day and enjoy a memorable experience together. A huge thank-you to Kathy Williams for coming up with the idea and putting so much time and effort into organizing such a fantastic day. She set the bar pretty high for our first Steet Ponte bus trip! We’re already looking forward to doing it again—and who knows where the next Steet Ponte adventure will take us! Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our first Yankees vs. Red Sox bus trip such a success. We can’t wait for the next one! ⚾🚌
