Trim Levels
The new Ford Escape is available in seven trim levels through our dealership near New Hartford: Base, ST-Line, Active, ST-Line Elite, Platinum, ST-Line Select, and Plug-in Hybrid. The Base model has a pedestrian detection system and a lane-keeping assist system, while the Active model has dynamic brake support and an auto lamp with delay. The ST-Line Select has a standard all-wheel drive configuration and dual-zone automatic temperature control. The ST-Line model has eight cup holders, front map lights, and a flat-bottom sport-style steering wheel. A 10-speaker system is available in the ST-Line Elite trim. The Escape Platinum has a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat and heated front-row seats for your drives to Whitesboro.
Design
The upscale Ford Escape has an athletic stance with muscular wheel arches. The grille is hexagonal and stands out due to the appearance of slim headlights. The Ford SUV has a sloping roofline that gives it a sporty look. The rear of the Escape makes a statement with its stylish taillights and twin exhaust tips.
Performance
The Ford SUV's base engine is a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that outputs 181 horsepower and 190 pound-feet of torque. It uses an automatic eight-speed transmission to power the all-wheel or front-wheel models. The engine has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The standard all-wheel drive gets 250 horsepower from a 2.0-liter engine. The iconic SUV can accelerate from zero to 60 miles per hour in under seven seconds. The hybrid powertrain uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor to deliver 210 horsepower. The Ford Escape Hybrid model's powertrain connects to a continuously variable transmission that helps improve your fuel efficiency as you drive around Rome.
Our new Ford models offer the latest driver-assist technology, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, and evasive steering assist. The Escape SUV has a Sport mode that you can activate by pushing a button. The mode adjusts the throttle mapping and transmission shift points to provide a more engaging driving experience around Yorkville, NY.
The ambitious Ford Escape has a Slippery mode that adjusts the throttle mapping and transmission shift points to provide a more controlled driving experience when driving at high speeds. It also has a Deep Snow and Sand mode activated automatically when the SUV detects deep snow or sand.

Our Escape models have an impressive cargo space of 65 cubic feet. The seats can fold to create more space when needed. The new Escape comes with a hands-free power liftgate that makes it easy to load and unload cargo. It also has the latest SYNC® 4 infotainment system that supports over-the-air updates. The system has a 12-inch touchscreen display, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and voice-activated navigation.
Safety
Ford has invested in the latest safety technology to ensure that you are safe while driving through town in the Ford Escape. The blind-spot detection system alerts the driver when someone is in a blind spot. The lane-keeping system helps keep the SUV in its lane. The new model also comes with pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and cross-traffic alert.
