The new 2023 Ford Bronco: The perfect split personality
The newest edition of the Ford Bronco has the technology and the capability to do an outstanding job off road and acquits itself nicely when you're back on paved surfaces. You get an outstanding lineup of powerful engines along with plenty of room for passengers and cargo. Take your pick from a big variety of trim levels and put together a Bronco that's all about you. Here's a closer look at the off-road vehicle you can see at Steet Ponte Ford in Yorkville, NY.
Engines and Performance
At the base, the new Ford Bronco gives you a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that you can count on for 300 horsepower. If you want something a little bigger, there's an available 2.7-liter V6 that will get you up to 330 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic comes with both gas engines and you can get a 7-speed manual with the smaller engine. The Bronco sends power to all four wheels and the independent front suspension is more advanced than Jeep's front axle.
Towing capacity
The Ford Bronco lets Whitesboro and Rome NY drivers tow up to 3,500 pounds when it's properly equipped. That's true whether you get the two-door version or the Bronco with four doors.
What's new for 2023?
The Ford Bronco is adding the Heritage and Heritage Limited trims to the lineup and both are designed to take you back to the original Bronco from the 1960s. These are primarily appearance packages that include totally groovy plaid upholstery, a white grille and white side stripes. The Heritage edition is based on the Big Bend trim and adds the Sasquatch package. The fancier Heritage Limited is based on the Badlands and adds leather trimmed seats.
For 2023, the Ford Bronco gives buyers from Utica and New Hartford, NY a total of nine trims to pick from:
- Base
- Big Bend
- Black Diamond
- Outer Banks
- Heritage Edition
- Badlands
- Wildtrak
- Everglades
- Heritage Limited Edition
Infotainment technology
An 8-inch touchscreen comes standard and so does wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ along with a seven-speaker stereo. You can upgrade to a 12-inch touch screen, a 10-speaker stereo, wireless device charging and a 120-volt household style power outlet.
Interior possibilities
The new Ford Bronco has an interior design that's practical and rugged. You don't need to worry about getting it dirty when you take off the top and remove the doors thanks to the Bronco's rubberized floor, marine grade vinyl upholstery and available drain plugs. The cabin is designed to welcome Mother Nature inside and be easy to clean. The Ford Bronco has a rack built into the top of its dashboard where you can store a GoPro camera or a smartphone.
Interior seating and cargo
The new Bronco in the two-door version can seat four people while the four-door Bronco has enough room for five. The front seats are spacious so if most of your excursions are of the two-passenger variety, the two-door will work fine. If you have rear seat passengers very often, you'll want to get the four-door model that's much more family-friendly. The four-door gives you 35.6 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 77.6 cubic feet when you fold those seats down.
Your adventures are waiting and so is the new Ford Bronco
The Ford Bronco for 2023 can give you the balance of civility in the city and off-road muscle you can't get from the Jeep Wrangler. Test drive the new Ford Bronco at Steet Ponte Ford in Yorkville, NY.
