When it comes to the Ford Flex, the Flex SE is considered to be the base trim level. Its horsepower V6 engine is 287, and its automatic transmission speed is six, along with Selectshift ability features. The driver can take over the Flex's shifting duties using the Selectshift. However, note that the Flex SE can only be found on the driver’s front wheel. It has inflatable safety belts on the second row with XM radio and a block heater for the engine.

On the other hand, the SEL comes with an intelligent wheel drive system that charges the fuel economy. The SEL has an infotainment system with an eight-inch upgraded touchscreen. It also has SYNC3 capabilities and Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay. Another thing that makes the SEL different from SE is that it does not have any upgrades and standard key fob for a start push button and intelligent access. However, it has a built-in remote control with an upgraded dual climate zone control.

Generally, the Flex SEL has the most and the best features and packages compared to the SE. However, when going for a Ford Flex car, it is up to you to make a choice.
